Pātaka Kai – Community Food Supplies

Pātaka Kai

He kai, he manaaki, he tautoko i te whānau.

We are grateful to receive weekly kai donations from The Good Neighbour, which allows us to support whānau in our community who may be experiencing times of need.

Our Pātaka Kai is located at the front gate, by the garage at the Hauora, and is available for whānau to access as needed.

We ask that whānau please take what you need and leave some for others, so that this resource can continue to support as many people as possible.

Our Pātaka Kai is an expression of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga — creating a space where whānau can access kai with dignity, care and without judgement. We recognise that everyone experiences times when a little extra support can make a difference.

He kai kei aku ringa — there is food in my hands.

We are proud to support the wellbeing of our whānau and community through sharing, caring and looking after one another.
