Who we are / Ko wai mātou

Our kaimahi at Pirirakau Hauora are dedicated to providing whānau/clients with individual personalised services that will ultimately achieve wellbeing for Pirirakau Uri and our community.

Pirirakau Hauora is affiliated to NMO (Nga Mataapuna Oranga), the only Māori PHO (Primary Health Organisation) in the Tauranga area.
We are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives from our hapū.

 

Accreditation:

Pirirakau Hauora holds certification under NZ Health & Disability Sector Standards including Mental Health. This means our whānau/clients have the reassurance that Pirirakau Hauora can deliver services to a high level of performance and competency.  

Pirirakau Hauora also holds Cornerstone Accreditation which means we have met the high standards set by the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners and ensures our whānau/clients will receive high quality of care.
